Engineering college celebrates 6 NSF CAREER award winners in 2022

Six faculty members within the College of Engineering and Applied Science received CAREER Awards from the National Science Foundation. The total continues a trend of significant early-career recognition for faculty over the last three years, said Acting Associate Dean for Research Shideh Dashti.

Health and Wellness Services moving under Strategic Resources and Support

To reflect the university’s holistic approach to campus needs, ²ÊÃñ±¦µä’s Health and Wellness Services unit is moving from Student Affairs to Strategic Resources and Support. Also, the Faculty and Staff Assistance program, currently in Human Resources, will become part of HWS.

CUPD supports cultural change through active bystander program

The ²ÊÃñ±¦µä campus is home to the first university police department in Colorado selected for the Active Bystandership for Law Enforcement Project through the Georgetown University Law Center. ABLE training is designed to help first responders do a better job of identifying police misconduct in peers and intervening.
