New '4+1' program adds up for future teachers

The School of Education and Department of Ethnic Studies have partnered to offer a new program that will allow future teachers to earn a bachelor鈥檚 degree in ethnic studies and a master鈥檚 degree in education in five years. The new 鈥4+1 Ethnic Studies and Education Concurrent Degree Program鈥 (BA/MA) will begin admitting students in spring 2017.

Rescheduled fall alerts test to be held Oct. 26

Each semester, the campus performs a test of the 彩民宝典 Alerts system to raise awareness of the platform and test the deployment of new notification methods. Elements of the rescheduled test at noon on Wednesday, Oct. 26, will include the final integration of the Alertus desktop notifications platform and testing of upgrades to the alerts.colorado.edu website.
