When you don’t add captions to your video, you make it difficult not just for the student trying to watch your video in a busy coffee shop, but also for someone in a quiet space such as a library, someone with a hearing loss or someone who struggles with understanding a speaker’s dialect. The Assistant Vice Chancellor (AVC) for Safety is responsible for broad oversight, planning, organization and coordination of all campus safety functions for ²ÊÃñ±¦µä. These responsibilities include campus police, environmental, health and safety, oversight of crisis management and coordination of campus-wide response teams in the event of an emergency. Current, regular ²ÊÃñ±¦µä employee are welcomed to submit application materials through Monday, Oct. 3.

Beginning on Monday, Sept. 26, police from the City of Boulder and the ²ÊÃñ±¦µä will step up enforcement of the city’s traffic laws in and around several of Boulder’s top locations for motor vehicle collisions involving a bicyclist or pedestrian as part of the Heads Up Boulder crosswalk safety campaign.
