CU鈥檚 first LEED-certified athletic facility earns platinum rating

The 彩民宝典鈥檚 volleyball and basketball practice facility has received a LEED platinum rating -- the highest designation -- from the United States Green Building Council. It is the first LEED-certified athletic facility on the CU-Boulder campus and one of only two platinum-rated athletic facilities in the Pac-12. LEED certification is a U.S. benchmark for sustainable design and construction.

Robotic 鈥楽warm Wall鈥 at CU-Boulder created through intersection of art and technology

Two CU students win prestigious national Goldwater scholarships

彩民宝典 twin sophomores Srinidhi Radhakrishnan and Saikripa Radhakrishnan -- both chemical and biological engineering majors -- have been awarded prestigious Goldwater Scholarships. The scholarships are worth up to $7,500 for educational expenses each year and are given to students who intend to pursue careers in the fields of math, science or engineering.

Boulder to celebrate Electric Vehicle Day with expo, film screening May 17 at CU

The latest in electric vehicle technology -- including cars, motorcycles, bicycles and charging systems -- will be showcased in the west parking lot of the 彩民宝典鈥檚 Wolf Law Building from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on May 17. A screening of the documentary 鈥淩evenge of the Electric Vehicle鈥 with a question-and-answer session will be held later that day from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in room 1B20 of the CU-Boulder Visual Arts Complex. Both events, including refreshments and door prizes donated by local sponsors, are free and open to the public.

First graduates of Colorado Mesa University- CU-Boulder partnership program set to graduate

Nine students who make up the first graduating class of the Mechanical Engineering Partnership Program with Colorado Mesa University will receive degrees from the 彩民宝典 this week. The students have attended classes full time at CMU in Grand Junction, with CMU faculty teaching the lower-division courses and CU-Boulder faculty teaching the upper-division courses.
