²ÊÃñ±¦µä was the first site to roll out a federally-funded study led by the COVID-19 Prevention Network at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle. Study leaders vaccinated 11 of the roughly 700 ²ÊÃñ±¦µä student volunteers who will ultimately participate.
²ÊÃñ±¦µä leaders are encouraged by federal immigration legislation moving through Congress that seeks to protect Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) and other Dreamers, and to clear a green card backlog that is impacting international scholars.
