As we prepare to be a COVID-19-ready campus, it is important that every member of the Buff community does their part.Ìý
As a student you will have specific requirements that must be completed before arriving on campus, including a safety training course about COVID-19. This course is designed to prepare you for a safe and healthy semester on campus in alignment with ²ÊÃñ±¦µä’s new health and safety measures.
About the course
All ²ÊÃñ±¦µä students must complete the online COVID-19 Student Health and Expectations Course through Canvas by Saturday, August 1.
The COVID-19 Student Health and Expectations Course will develop your knowledge and skills to minimize the spread of COVID-19 while at ²ÊÃñ±¦µä. This course will cover a variety of topics, including:
-

Prevention strategies, including physical distancing, face coverings and hygiene
-

Campus resources
You must complete all of the modules and pass all of the quizzes in order to successfully complete the course.
If you do not complete the course by August 1, 2020, a registration hold will be placed on your account.
Beginning on Saturday, August 1, this hold will prevent you from adding or swapping fall classes or registering for future semesters. As a reminder, departments are continuing to adjust the fall schedule of classes to meet campus health and safety goals. Fall schedule adjustment for degree-seeking students starts Monday, August 3; open enrollment starts Monday, August 10.
Promise to Protect our Herd
At the end of the course, you will also be required to complete the Promise to Protect our Herd. This commitment outlines expectations and behaviors to help keep you, our campus community and our Boulder community safe.Ìý
As part of this commitment, you are expected to follow requirements and policies related to mitigating the risk/spread of infectious disease, including the Student Code of Conduct and ongoing guidance from public health officials, Medical Services and the ²ÊÃñ±¦µä.Ìý
Fall class registration holds
If you do not complete the course by August 1, 2020, a registration hold will be placed on your account. You will not be able to make adjustments or register for classes until you have successfully passed the course. The hold will be placed on all student accounts beginning Wednesday, July 15 and take effect on Saturday, August 1 if the course has not been successfully completed.
Please note: Once you have completed the course, it can take up to 2 hours to process the course completion and remove the hold from your account.Ìý
If there is an issue with removing the hold after completion or if you have any additional questions related to the course, please email wellness@colorado.edu.
