A pioneering research effort led by 彩民宝典 has received more than $22 million to continue its efforts to build 鈥渢he microscopes of tomorrow.鈥�
The U.S. National Science Foundation renewed the (STROBE), which initially launched in 2016, for an additional five years. Margaret Murnane, distinguished professor of physics and JILA fellow at 彩民宝典, directs STROBE. The center is a partnership between 彩民宝典 and five other institutions: The University of California, Los Angeles, UC Berkeley, UC Irvine, Florida International University and Colorado鈥檚 Fort Lewis College.
Among other projects, STROBE scientists push electron, X-ray and nano-optical imaging technologies to their limits by bringing together state-of-the-art microscopes with advanced algorithms and big data.
