- Sixteen teams of CU faculty, researchers and graduate student innovators competed in this year’s Lab Venture Challenge. Judges from ²ÊÃñ±¦µä’s entrepreneurial network heard Shark-Tank-style pitches over two nights.
- The ²ÊÃñ±¦µä transportation team has announced the winning names for the two newest electric Buff Buses. Find out what they are! The newbies will join two other e-buses that were previously named by campus nominators.
- The Royal Thai Embassy’s Office of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation awarded Professor Noel Clark the 2023 Friend of Thai Science Award. The award recognizes outstanding contributions in STEM for the benefit of Thailand and humanity.
- The university’s private Family and Medical Leave Insurance program will offer paid leave that, in combination with other leave types, can ensure more paid leave for employees facing a medical or family challenge. Learn more at Q&A sessions, offered through February.
- One of the most prestigious awards at ²ÊÃñ±¦µä, the Hazel Barnes Prize focuses on the enriching relationship between teaching and research. Nominations are now being accepted through March 1, 2024.

- The International Affairs Program has unlocked a $200,000 fundraising match commitment, helping support study abroad experiences.
- More than 250 undergraduate and graduate students attended the second annual Physics and Quantum Career & Internship Fair in October. Held in partnership with JILA and CUbit, the event drew more than 25 employers from industry, national labs and government agencies.
