- Claire McCollough, who is completing her master's in accounting at CU's Leeds School of Business, has become the first university student to win the Alteryx Grand Prix, a data analytics competition, a year after placing fifth overall.
- Beth Rossman, a sophomore majoring in environmental engineering, has been awarded a Udall Scholarship, becoming the 12th ²ÊÃñ±¦µä student to be honored with the scholarship.
- Students at the Immigration Defense Clinic have represented more than 20 longtime university employees from El Salvador who have temporary protected status, which allows them to work. The clinic is helping them become permanent residents.
- Ilham Siddiq survived the devastating 2004 Indian Ocean earthquake and tsunami and is now using his firsthand disaster knowledge to evaluate the effectiveness of recovery policies.
- The newest class of Leeds School of Business graduates is out to make its mark at companies such as Morgan Stanley, Disney and L'Oreal.
- Graduating senior Katelynn Thammavong has been recognized with a Community Impact Award for her work to connect and empower Asian-heritage STEM students and disrupt anti-Asian racism during the COVID-19 pandemic.
