This page contains all the information available to help you promote this opportunity to your network and community. If you have questions or suggestions, please reach out to Daniel Leonard, senior marketing and communications specialist for Venture Partners at daniel.leonard@colorado.edu

Program Information

In this workshop series hosted by the Center for Translational Research (CTR), companies will draft and submit Phase I SBIR/STTR applications. Selected teams will meet weekly for six weeks to draft, critique, workshop and optimize their applications, poised and ready to submit by the end of the workshop.

Sessions will be held virtually once a week. However, companies are expected to dedicate 10-20 hours outside of this time to their applications and all associated activities. SBIR/STTR grants are estimated to take 80-150 hours to complete, and many companies fall short of dedicating the time and resources necessary to succeed. Through this workshop, we aim to provide a space, a structure, a community and the guidance to draft the best proposals. While the workshop supports applications to any SBIR/STTR agency, it is critical to know the desired agency and SBIR solicitation that you are pursuing prior to starting.
