Do you remember your high school’s Prom? The rented baby blue suit, the clouds of hair spray and Axe body spray wafting from the bathrooms and shaking the speakers? Did your parents gift you a one-hour later curfew? Did you also order a way-too-large paella entree at dinner and have to fight through a devastating food coma during the Cupid Shuffle?
Well, back in business school, you’re able to relive the best parts of Prom, while making up for your past mistakes. An annual tradition at the Leeds School of Business, this year’s MBA Prom was themed “A Moonlight Masquerade” and boasted over 150 jovial attendees. Masked dancers took over the dance floor, the photo booth was snapping all night and the clinking of beer (water) pong tables reverberated through the crisp, spring air. It was an absolutely wonderful night to remember for all, free from the curfews, food comas and cloying body spray of yesteryear.
