Research conducted by the architectural engineering faculty members spans several systems of the built environment. In particular, the research projects supervised by the current faculty members include design, modeling听and analysis of integrated building energy systems, renewable energy technologies, sustainable materials for buildings, indoor environmental quality, grid-integration and model predictive control for building energy systems, and innovative HVAC and illumination technologies.
