- Overview of Application Preparation Process
- In this meeting, we discuss what to do in the months leading up to application season. We also review each of the steps and deadlines for participating in our Application Coaching program.
- Pre-Application Workshop, Part 1
- We will review copies of successful applications, discuss strategies for asking for strong letters of recommendation, and revisit our pre-health self-assessment to help you think of ways to strengthen your candidacy between now and application time.
- Pre-Application Workshop, Part 2
- Participants in the Application Coaching program will turn in the first draft of their professional school application over winter break. In preparation, this workshop provides guidance on best practices for writing your personal statement, your application experience descriptions, and your secondary essays. In addition, we will provide advice on writing the disclosure statements for academic or legal infractions, in case either or both of these apply to you.
