The Center for Asian Studies is pleased to offer the Graduate Certificate in Asian Studies.ÌýThe certificate is available to all graduate students and post-BA students in the professional schools currently enrolled at ²ÊÃñ±¦µä, and to non-degree seeking ACCESS students with a bachelor’s degree. It enables students with intellectual or professional interest in Asia who are not focused primarily on Asia within their own degree program to acquire an official credential indicating that they have expertise in some aspect of Asian knowledge or practice.Ìý For more information on this certificate, click .
Graduate Certificate in Comparative Ethnic Studies
The Department in Ethnic Studies offers a Graduate Certificate in Comparative Ethnic Studies (GCCES).Ìý ÌýThe GCCES certificate is designed for students currently enrolled in a graduate degree program at CU-Boulder and requires twelve hours of coursework.Ìý German graduate students, with approval of their graduate advisor, can count nine credit hours of the hours required for this certificate toward the nine credit hours that can be taken in an outside area.Ìý For more information on this certificate, clickÌýhere.

The Department of Germanic and Slavic Languages and Literatures offers a Graduate Certificate in Critical Theory.Ìý The Graduate Certificate in Critical Theory offers students a background in the philosophical foundations of critical theory. Drawing on disciplines such as philosophy, psychoanalysis, Marxism, literary criticism and sociology, critical theory develops analytical tools for describing and evaluating modern society and cultural production. The Digital Humanities Graduate Certificate prepares students to create, utilize, and evaluate digital methods and tools for research; assess the diverse impacts of technologies on people and society; leverage digital technologies for teaching, public outreach, and engagement.Ìý The certificate is interdisciplinary and open to all graduate students in good standing. The Graduate Certificate in International Affairs (IAGC)Ìýallows ²ÊÃñ±¦µä graduate students to examine global issues and position their own graduate research in a global context. It also allows graduate students in various disciplines to study international affairs in an interdisciplinary way and with access to courses across the social sciences, humanities, and natural sciences. The Program in Jewish Studies is an innovative and deeply interdisciplinaryÌýprogram that explores Jewish culture, history, society and thought acrossÌýdisciplinary borders and in a global context.ÌýThis certificate program allowsÌýgraduate students across campus interested in Jewish studies to explore JewishÌýculture, history, society, and thought in a number of disciplines.
