Get Up and Move
Prepare for a fun, energetic and informative workshop. Learn ways to burn more calories in sedentary jobs, and stretching and movement to mitigate aches and pains no matter how physical your job is. This workshop also breaks down today’s hot trends in workouts, like boot camp, hot yoga, Zumba and other types of yoga. We will also visit eating the right foods, the importance of sleep and other self-care concepts.Â

Officer Mitch Trujillo is a 25 year veteran of the Boulder Police Department. Â He has held several assignments and collateral duties throughout his career. Â Notably, he was a Crime Scene Investigator, is still an Arrest Control Instructor, served many years on the Mall & Hill Teams, and is now assigned to the Community Services Unit. Â Mitch instructs in a number of other disciplines in his current role, and has become a resource for Community Safety and Security in the City of Boulder.
Sergeant John Zizz has been a law enforcement officer with the University of Colorado at Boulder for 12 years. He is currently managing the Training Unit and has held a variety of positions including, Patrol Officer, Training Officer, Background Investigator, Quartermaster, and Event Logistics Officer.Sergeant Zizz started the first Peer Support Program at CUPD (which was also the first in CO at a higher education institution). The Peer Support Team provides confidential peer counseling for CUPD employees. He is an instructor in several disciplines related to law enforcement training and tactics. John is passionate about building community relationships and partnerships to capitalize on the variety of strengths within the community. He has been researching and teaching Active Harmer courses since 2012.

Aaron has been involved in real estate since 2006, first as a licensed Real Estate Agent and for the last 10 years on the mortgage lending side. Aaron is consistently ranked among the top producing loan officers not only in Colorado but also nationally. His passion lies in the education of our membership, and with his vast experience in real estate, he is uniquely qualified to assist our members with every kind of purchase and refinance transaction. Aaron received his bachelor’s degree in philosophy with a minor in ecological and evolutionary biology from ²ÊÃñ±¦µä in 2008. He has been in Colorado for over 30 years and is a volunteer diver at the Denver Aquarium on the weekends.
