You are invited to register for a virtual edition of the New Employee Welcome Experience (New-Xv).
New-Xv is part of the comprehensive, year-long onboarding experience designed to increase the understanding of what it means to work at ²ÊÃñ±¦µä. The format of the program guides employees through historical retrospective of ²ÊÃñ±¦µä from its inception (1876) to current day. We cover:
- Notable people
- Notable locations
- Significant events
We illuminate how and why ²ÊÃñ±¦µä became the institution it is today. We also explore present day organizational structure & governance, operations and campus initiatives.
At the end of the session, you will be able to:
- Understand how the history of ²ÊÃñ±¦µä shaped the institution we are today.
- Define the foundational components of the ²ÊÃñ±¦µä campus- values, organizational structure, operations, strategic initiatives and governance.
New-Xv is held via Zoom and uses a mixed media approach to tell ²ÊÃñ±¦µä’s story. Due to course popularity, participants are asked to commit to the entire 2.5 hour course. There is no cost to attend. This program is provided by Organization & Employee Development in the ²ÊÃñ±¦µä Department of Human Resources.Â
