Advising
In IDE, academic advising is a collaborative process. Work with your IDE advisor to set goals, address questions and check your academic progress.
With over 100 IDE degree combinations, it's important that students regularly meet and check-in with the IDE advisor because curriculum and course listings may change.
Connecting with the IDE Undergraduate Advisor
Current Integrated Design Engineering students can schedule an advising appointment through .
We also offer drop-in advising hours on Mondays 1-3 pm that are open to all ²ÊÃñ±¦µä students. These are intended for quick questions (5-10 minutes).
If students need to talk about something more in-depth or have your advising hold lifted, we recommend scheduling an appointment. Please see for the most up-to-date information.
Engineering students interested in changing their major to Integrated Design Engineering are welcome to email IDE.advising@colorado.edu with questions.
Prospective intra-university transfer (IUT) students should refer to the for transfer advising information.
Advising Resources
- Some emphasis areas require additional math or science electives to bring their total number of math and science credits to at least 30 credits. This is a list of ²ÊÃñ±¦µä courses that have been approved to satisfy this requirement.
