Research involving animals is carried out in new, state-of-the-art housing and laboratory research rooms in the Life Sciences Animal Research Building. Our facilities support all modern neuroscience techniques, ranging from advanced imaging to molecular detection. The facility has specialized rooms dedicated to sophisticated behavioral testing of animals.

Within the department, we support the use of computers for the running of a wide range of psychological experiments and the collecting of data in real-time. We maintain a couple of computer laboratories for use in both teaching and in running experiments by faculty, graduate and undergraduate students. 

In addition to our in-house facilities, the ²ÊÃñ±¦µä's  provides a range of large-scale facilities including the 184 TFLOPS Janus Supercomputer, storage of research data, high-speed data transfer capabilities and support for data sharing (https://www.rc.colorado.edu). These facilities are available to all researchers on campus.
