Class Enrollment & Grading
- Since you're taking one or more Fall 2020 classes for no credit, we wanted to let you know about a recent process update that affects how you'll change to and from no credit in the future.
- We have completed the majority of updates to the fall schedule of classes to meet the health and safety goals that will enable our return to campus. Departments may have canceled some classes or reassigned faculty in order to prioritize course offerings that support progress towards degree completion.
- ²ÊÃñ±¦µä Class Search has been upgraded with new features, including registration (beta), which will allow you to finish enrolling in classes from within the class search tool. If you’re not ready to try the new registration (beta), you can continue with standard enrollment instead.
- Due to a recent class eligibility change by the Department of Writing and Rhetoric, the [class number]Â class you retook in [semester]Â is retroactively eligible for grade replacement.
- For those of you who’ve already registered for fall classes, we're working to minimize disruption to your existing schedules and maximize your opportunities to take the classes you need to finish your degree.Â
- To ensure colleges, schools and programs have time to finalize Fall 2020 class schedules and set up freshman cohorts, the scheduled July 6 registration start date for new, incoming transfer and summer-to-fall students has been postponed.
- We've finished processing your grace period pass/fail change request(s), and your final grade modes should now be accurately reflected in Buff Portal.
- Your grade replacement request will be denied unless you change your grade mode back to letter grade by 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, April 30.
- In light of recent guidance around COVID-19, all summer classes will be in either an online or remote teaching format.
- New P+ grade added to student option grading basis for Spring 2020.
