Sociology Courses
The ²ÊÃñ±¦µä Sociology Department offers BA, MA and PhD degrees. Our Sociology courses help our students appreciate, understand and analyze culture, social organization, human behavior and social changes.
Why take Sociology courses?
- Sociology is a highly diverse field, offering courses on topics such as sexuality, race, culture, environment, health, population, and crime
- Our courses provide strong research, data analysis, writing, and reading skills, preparing students for a wide variety of employment and graduate school opportunities
- Sociology courses foster innovation, communication, and critical thinking skills
- For non-majors, we offer courses that can satisfy many Arts and Sciences Core Requirements
