One such phishing email asked for further account verification which when followed, led people to a login page. These emails are not authentic. It’s time to apply for financial aid for the 2017-18 academic year. The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is open now for next year and instead of requiring tax information for 2016, it asks for 2015 tax information. That means you have no reason to wait to apply.
