Awarded to a ²ÊÃñ±¦µä undergraduate or graduate student byÌýfaculty nomination

The Program in Jewish Studies and the Ìýannually award the Ulrich Goldsmith Memorial Prize,Ìýwhich rewards academic writing on Jewish culture in German-speaking lands.ÌýThe $300Ìýprize is awardedÌýtoÌýthe best paper written by a student (undergraduate or graduate) on a topic pertaining to any aspect of German-Jewish culture in the pre- or post-World War II period.

Faculty from the Department of Germanic and Slavic Languages and Literatures and the Program inÌýJewish Studies will nominate students for the prize for papers writtenÌýthe previous calendar year. A studentÌýawardee will be announced early April.
